Hans Clevers awarded ‘The Thinker’-prize

This saturday the exhibition of sculptor Rob Cerneus was opened by Frits Sissing in the Great Church of Monnickendam. During the opening,  Hans Clevers  (group leader at the Hubrecht Institute and scientific director of the Princess Maxima Center for pediatric oncology) was awarded the price ‘The Thinker’. 

The prize “The Thinker” is created by ‘Stichting Cenootschap’ and awarded to honour a person or institution, which has manifested itself in a special way. The prize consists of a sculpture made by Rob Cerneus and inspired by ‘The Thinker’ from famous sculptor Auguste Rodin. The prize is awarded for the 5th time.
