Terug naar nieuws An international evaluation committee concludes that the Hubrecht Institute is even better than was evaluated six years ago. The institute is on the same level as MIT and the German EMBL: among the best institutes in the world. Once every six years the Hubrecht Institute is reviewed by an international committee of renowned scientists. They assess how well the institute scores on quality, productivity, societal relevance and vitality & feasibility. For each of these points the Institute scored the maximum amount of 5 points. The committee is very impressed by the quality of the research and praises the dynamic academic atmosphere of the institute. They support the strategy of director Alexander van Oudenaarden to focus more on collaboration and interdisciplinarity.
