29 November 2018 Erasmus Medal for Hans Clevers Back to news For his long list of important contributions to the scientific community, prof. dr. Hans Clevers received the Erasmus Medal, the highest award of the Academia Europaea on Thursday November 29th 2018. Clevers traveled, together with his wife, to Barcelona, where the annual conference of the Academia Europaea was held. The Academia Europaea was established in 1988 and gathered about 2000 members, among whom 40 Nobelprize laureates. With the award of the medal, Clevers is invited to become member.
