23 May 2016 Over 1250 visitors on open day Hubrecht Institute Back to news The Hubrecht Institute celebrated its 100-year anniversary last week with an open day on 21 May. With scientific activities for all ages and over 1250 visitors, the open day was a big success. After the official opening of the centenary by His Majesty the King on May 18 and a scientific congress on May 19, the Hubrecht Institute opened its doors for the public on May 21st. Visitors could visit the labs, attend lectures by group leaders, perform experiments and investigate on the scientific experience plaza. The visitors assessed the open day with an 8.4. Furthermore, the reunion held that day was attended by more than 200 visitors.
